Fashion Week – Part II – Hervé Léger Show!

Hervé Léger was a little disappointing.  The only celebs were teen stars, which didn’t interest me (Michelle Trachtenberg, Sophia Bush, Jessica Stroup).  Hervé Léger is known for bandage style dresses that the designer copied from Azzedine Alaia (anyone remember when Cher Harowitz in Clueless is held up and refuses to lay on the ground because she’s wearing an Alaïa?).  Max Azria designs the line now, in addition to his own line and BCBG.

Instead of the usual bright colors, the show featured muted tones of Brown and dark green.  There was also a lot of black, which is said to be making a come back because of the recession (though it never went out of style for some of us).  Two models fell because they couldn’t walk in the absurdly high heels.

  1. I heard about the heels! crazy.

Interesting tips from the gals. 🙂

  2. oh, and everytime I hear a clueless reference, my heart smiles. I love when Cher says, and “he forced me to ruin my dress.” how dirty are cali parking lots?
